This painting is based on the book i am currently reading, The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan. When the main characters of the book travel to Montreal the eventually reach the penthouse of Boreas, the Northern Wind god from Greek Mythology. I took some liberties with the design, in the book it describes a massive wooden door with detailed reliefs and it didn't have icicles in the ceiling. But i thought having just the Greek letter for B more sleek and appropriate for a penthouse rather than the very detailed reliefs on the door. The icicles i thought would be more visually interesting and help establish a cold atmosphere.
